PLAIN MANICURING

I.  MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT: 

     -  Soap and water

     -  Trash bag

     -  Towels and paper

     -  Cushion

     -  Cuticle nipper

     -  Cuticle pusher

     -  Emery board

     -  Orange wood stick

     -  Cotton

     -  Finger bowl

     -  Nail brush

     -  Polish remover

     -  Cuticle softener

     -  Cuticle oil

     -  Hand lotion

     -  Base coat

     -  Nail polish

     -  Top coat

II.  PROCEDURE: 

     01.  Wash hands

     02.  Set up table

     03.  Wash patron's hands, blot dry

     04.  Examine patron's hands

     05.  Remove old polish both hands

     06.  File nail of hand (following the required schedule)

     07.  Soak hand in finger bowl

     08.  Take hand from bath and blot dry

     09.  Apply cuticle softener

     10.  Push back cuticle

01.    Nip cuticle by nipper

02.    Apply cuticle oil and massage

03.    Apply hand lotion and massage hand and arm

04.    Brush nail on top and under free edges

05.    Clean nail by polish remover

06.    Apply polish

07.    Clean up

08.    Wash hands
